Description
Fate Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated and innovative research investigator with significant expertise in human genome characterization studies. By employing the latest genomics technologies utilizing the latest advancements in NGS, this position will be responsible for the establishment of methods to characterize and fully understand Fate’s novel induced pluripotent stem cell derived cellular therapy product candidates. The candidate must also have extensive experience in molecular biology including cloning, real-time PCR, and most importantly, skills related to the characterization of human genomes by NGS (DNA-seq, WES, CNV, etc.). The successful individual will demonstrate subject matter expertise combined with the ability to independently evaluate large amounts of scientific data required for detailed characterization of cell-based immuno-therapeutics. This is a full-time position reporting to the Associate Director, Genomics and is located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego.
