Fate is currently seeking a motivated associate to join our Clinical Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will execute CMC studies and produce cell stocks in support of Fate’s clinical development programs. The position will be responsible for ordering and maintaining lab equipment and supplies, performing experiments to qualify process improvements for manufacture of Fate’s products in clinical development, and performing analysis of data. The position will provide technical support for Fate manufacturing and process development activities. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a keen attention to detail and thrive in a team environment. This is a full time position reporting to the Manager, Clinical Manufacturing and is located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego, California.

Candidate is tasked with ensuring departments have adequate access to the GMP materials they need. Candidate will manage the GMP warehouse environment including overseeing a team of Associates. The GMP Materials Manager will manage and perform tasks that include receive/process/release/ship materials and continuously look for ways to improve processes and documentation. Fate’s development programs involve novel cell therapeutic products which present unique product manufacturing and quality opportunities. Cell therapy manufacturing knowledge and familiarity with the pertinent regulations and how they apply to this field is desired.
