Fate Therapeutics is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing Associates to join our manufacturing team to support operation of the cGMP clean room suite in a variety of production activities related to Fate’s cell therapy clinical trials. The successful candidate will develop and adhere to written procedures (SOPs) related to housekeeping, monitoring of equipment and facilities, and manufacturing of cell therapies internally at Fate. This person demonstrates cGMP compliance and support for manufacturing activities across multiple programs. This is a full-time position initially reporting to the Director, Manufacturing, and is located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA.

Fate Therapeutics is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled process development engineer to join our company’s Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) Team. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team evaluating new technologies and developing novel processes for the scaled-up manufacturing of cellular immune therapies from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). The candidate will assist senior members of the MSAT team in the development of scaled-up culture, differentiation, purification and characterization methods for iPSC-derived cellular therapy products. Furthermore, they will actively support laboratory operations by coordinating the inventory, purchase and aliquoting of key reagents. This is a full-time position reporting to the Associate Director, Process Development Engineering. This position will require dedicated weekend hours and is located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA.

363CC, Scientist / Associate Scientist, Process Development

Fate Therapeutics is seeking an experienced and highly motivated cell biologist to join the process development team to support the Company’s cellular therapeutic product development. The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to build a robust, GMP-compliant process to generate allogeneic NK and T cell therapies from engineered iPSC. This position requires prior experience with mammalian cell culture and immunological techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA and cell-based assays. Excellent organization, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills are required. Prior experience in NK cell production is a plus. This is a full-time position reporting to a Senior Scientist, and is located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA.
