We support and encourage our employees to participate in toy and food drives that provide assistance to our local community.

We established the Wen Bo Wang Scholarship in honor of Wen Bo Wang, PhD, our former Senior Vice President, Technical Operations, who lost her battle with cancer. The scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors with financial need who plan to attend an accredited four-year U.S. university, maintain a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5, and pursue a STEM major. Awarded for up to four years, the scholarship is granted to a new recipient every other year.

As strong supporters of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, we partner with San Diego Squared (SD2) and Project Onramp, organizations focused on creating diversity in STEM careers by inspiring, supporting and mentoring San Diego students at every stage of the talent pipeline.

We raise funds for autoimmune and cancer research by sponsoring and participating in local events including the Lupus Foundation of America’s Walk to End Lupus Now and the Curebound Cancer Challenge.
