We support and encourage our employees to participate in toy drives and food drives to provide assistance to our local community.

We have established a scholarship in honor of Wen Bo Wang, PhD, our former Senior Vice President, Technical Operations, who lost her battle with cancer. The Wen Bo Wang Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors in financial need who plan to attend an accredited public or private four-year university in the US, have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, and who intend to major in a STEM field and to pursue a degree in life sciences. The scholarship is for four years and is awarded to a new student every other year.

As strong supporters of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, we are an Annual Sustaining Member of San Diego Squared (SD2), an organization focused on creating diversity in STEM careers by inspiring, supporting and mentoring San Diego students at every stage of the talent pipeline.

We raise funds for autoimmune and cancer research by sponsoring and participating in local events including the Lupus Foundation of America’s Walk to End Lupus Now and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night walk.
